The Spoken Word and body writing workshop aims to be a space for listening, memory and writing from the body, in which concepts such as rhyme, metaphor, rhetoric, intonation, etc. serve as tools to weave pieces of Spoken word and poetic orality. «In this workshop we will talk about what the Spoken Word is, how it was born and some of its references who have woven their voice in opposition to colonialism, racism, patriarchy and territorial defense, with the aim that through writing exercises and group dynamics during the workshop, the participants can be able to expose their body writing exercises aloud ». - Valerio Bitumen
𝐋𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬
The workshop lasts 4 hours, in sessions of 2 hours. It will be held on December 14 and 15, in the Plaza Amalí Selva of the Guatemala Mosaic Cultural Center (10 street 4-19 zone 1) from 3 to 5 pm. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨The workshop has no cost. You can register by scanning the QR code or by calling 2458-4510.
