Spoken word and body writing workshop

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐲 𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥

The Spoken Word and body writing workshop aims to be a space for listening, memory and writing from the body, in which concepts such as rhyme, metaphor, rhetoric, intonation, etc. serve as tools to weave pieces of Spoken word and poetic orality. «In this workshop we will talk about what the Spoken Word is, how it was born and some of its references who have woven their voice in opposition to colonialism, racism, patriarchy and territorial defense, with the aim that through writing exercises and group dynamics during the workshop, the participants can be able to expose their body writing exercises aloud ». - Valerio Bitumen

The workshop lasts 4 hours, in sessions of 2 hours. It will be held on December 14 and 15, in the Plaza Amalí Selva of the Guatemala Mosaic Cultural Center (10 street 4-19 zone 1) from 3 to 5 pm.
