"Walkers" - Duel Accompaniment Group

The end of the year holidays are near and with them come difficult moments, for those of us who are going through the experience of the loss of a loved one. This situation prompts us to propose accompanying each other in a safe environment away from everyday contexts in which we are asked to "be strong" and avoid expressions of pain such as crying and anger. 

In this support group, we will freely discuss loss, death, and grief. But, above all, we will accompany each other by giving ourselves permission to express what needs to be expressed, without judgment or censorship. 

When and where?

This accompaniment workshop has a duration of 4 sessions, on Saturdays, from November 27 to December 18, 2021, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Delfina Luna Room of the Guatemala Mosaic Cultural Center. 

About the facilitator

The group will be coordinated by Enrique Juárez Andrade , Bachelor of Clinical Psychology with a Master's in Logotherapy, collegiate 8208, trained in Approach to Grief from the perspectives: Existential Phenomenology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy ( TREC), university professor of Group Therapy and author of the blog Hablemos de Duelo .
