Acerca del evento

Estampas de Inocencia y Ternura is an exhibition where through the cartoon the feeling, nobility and love of children towards their pets or their naivety and innocence when carrying out their daily activities are enhanced and that most of the time we overlook and do not see because these images can only be seen with the eyes of the soul.

The cartoons are inspired by images but by making them I have given them their own sentimental touch and this is what I want to convey to the public. - Master Marvin Vasquez

Within the framework of Children's Day and International Girl's Day, which are celebrated on October 1 and 11, respectively, the Centro Cultural Mosaico Guatemala wants to bring art to children and strengthen their intrinsic creative capacity so that they can find in the art a way of developing as human beings, creating their identity and expressing themselves.

The exhibition "Estampas de Inocencia y Ternura" by the renowned Quetzalteco artist Marvin Eliseo Vasquez will be available from October 1 to November 15, 2021, at the facilities of the Galería Mosaico Guatemala (Carlos Valenti Room of the Centro Cultural Mosaico Guatemala, 10 Street 4-19 zone 1). It is an exhibition open to all public and free entry. The hours of operation are from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The exhibition is made up of 40 caricatures (prints) that reflect magical moments of joy, purity and innocence. Children of all ages are invited to visit this collection.

Alternate exposure:

During the month of October, Maestro Vasquez's students will also be holding a group exhibition entitled "PincelArte" with a collection of paintings. This exhibition seeks to promote the work done by the students and motivate them to continue learning and discovering the artist within them.
